*The Boeing Company is Seeking a Training Device Technician 3*


This level 3 Training Device Technician assists with repairs and tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software. Performs general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components. Conducts functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators. Assists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment. Troubleshoots to isolate faults and repair faulty components. Works under limited supervision.

*Typical Education / Experience*

AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

*Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)*

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Must be able to interpret technical manuals. Also, experience with basic electronics and circuits
AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Assignment includes maintaining simulation devices in St. Louis and on-site support periodically. Individual must be able to travel, up to 30 days at a time, to support field sites. Individual must not lack initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Must have formal electronics training

Must have be capable of interpreting technical manuals and electrical schematics supporting computer systems utilizing multiple operating systems and networks

Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
