Sr. Business Development Manager - Custom Installer Channel
**General Description**
LED/LFD Business development:
* Lead and develop strategies for maximizing business with LED/LFD Partners within the Custom Installer Channel (CI)
* Custom Installers can be qualified as installers of Home Automation, custom A/V & In Home theater solutions
* Identifying targeted US/Canada-based LED/LFD channel programs and designing strategies to cultivate new business model[s] that are effective and scalable for Samsung LED/LFD products, Tizen Platform, SoC, and MagicInfo Account management:
* Collaborate with HQ Samsung teams and global partners in managing global and US-based client opportunities, ensuring that client needs are carefully understood and met as appropriate through our global LED/LFD product strategy. This may involve channeling requirements through HQ and regional sales team.
* Set-up and lead business development programs for relevant partners and customers, involving and collaborating with HQ teams and sales subsidiary managers/representatives and distributors as participants in those teams. New business development:
* Responsible for developing an Eco-System of partners to deliver an adaptable solution based on LED/LFD/Tizen/SSSP/MagicInfo specific to custom installers.
* Actively seek to identify new partner and customer opportunities from our direct sales channel or in partnership with our global partner network.
* Provide recommendations and analysis to the Executive Management Team, HQ LED/LFD/Tizen/SSSP/MagicInfo product teams, and the regional sales management on LED/LFD/Tizen/SSSP/MagicInfo business development and performance.
* Educate and inform partners and customers with the current knowledge of LED/LFD/Tizen/MagicInfo technology Sales/Marketing Information Systems and Knowledge Management
* Ensure that end customer and partner program operations are fully integrated with Samsung corporate systems and processes, including Salesforce, GSBN, and other SEC/SEA systems.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current global capability across Samsung operations: prices, product language availability, services, and scope across Samsung global markets.
* Forecast annual LED/LFD/Tizen/SSSP/MagicInfo sales goals for the end customers and partners by identifying and evaluating viable opportunities for the revenue growth.
* Act as subject matter expert to work together with marketing and sales teams to produce collateral and capability reference materials to support proactive development of LED/LFD/Tizen/SSSP/MagicInfo business
* Create, frequently communicate, and grow a LED/LFD/Tizen/SSSP/MagicInfo business pipeline details that capture timely and accurate business opportunities.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* A demonstrated track record of managing and growing LFD/LED/Tizen/MagicInfo revenues in product and services within the custom installer channel
* Must have current and relevant knowledge in LED industry and technology
* Must possess in-depth knowledge of Samsung LFD, Samsung MagicInfo, Tizen, SSSP, and End-to-End platform
* Bachelor degree (MBA preferred) in a related discipline with relevant managerial/sales experience in an international operating business and with good knowledge of psychometric instruments, preferably obtained in a commercial and organizational context.
* 5+ years of experience in business development/sales with a proven track record in channel program management with Samsung LFD, MagicInfo, Tizen, SSSP, and Samsung LED
* A track record of building and maintaining excellent client relationships, leading to sales growth and successfully achieving targets.
* Effective collaboration skills with peers in a sales environment
* Demonstrated public relations and presentation skills
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
* Experience of working in and collaborating effectively in multi-site, virtual and cross-cultural contexts
* Ability to travel up to 70% of the time - both domestic and internationally
* Candidate must be a self starter and be able to prioritize work efforts and deliver results on schedule.
* Candidate must be willing to work frequent additional hours beyond normal schedule in conjunction with Samsung teams located in Korea as well as other Samsung entities across the globe.
