This recruitment is for one seasonal, permanent, **Senior Park Aide**position, located at Lake Chelan State Park in Chelan County, Washington.
The seasonal dates for this position are April 1st through September 30th, yearly.

Under the supervision and direction of the Park Ranger, this position is essential to the state park's mission of operating, enhancing, and protecting our Parks' recreational, cultural, historical and natural sites. The Senior Park Aide will assist and contribute toward all aspects of park operations and will lead work responsibilities for a small team of park aides dedicated to the grounds and facility maintenance/custodianship of Lake Chelan State Park.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
* Lead Park Aides in registration duties.
* Maintain an advanced understanding of CAMIS software and hardware (camper registration system).
* Complete various attendance, accounting and monthly reports utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Maintain area inventories as directed; order, receive, and maintain supplies.
* Basic accounting duties including reconciling daily shifts and weekly transmittals.
* Review written documents for accuracy and completeness following proper rules of grammar and agency correspondence guidelines.
* Perform grounds maintenance and clean all park facilities, including picnic sites, trails, campsites, and roads.
* Maintains park lawns using a mowers, weed eaters, trimmers and various other tools.
* Register campers, collect, sort, and count revenue; prepare bank transmittals and deposits.
* Answer phones and provide park information to the public regarding park rules and regulations, local events, activities, walks and talks, and historic information.
* Twelve months of experience in building maintenance or grounds keeping, or performing semi-skilled/general carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing repair work.
* Six months cumulative experience as a Park Aide or equivalent, or six months experience in a special employment program (WCC) with a parks agency. A combination of experience (WCC and Park Aide) may be used provided at least three months experience is as a Park Aide or equivalent.
* A valid driver's license.
